EPL: Guardiola praises Man City star, comparing him to Messi and Ronaldo

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has remarked that Erling Haaland is reaching the level of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Guardiola made these comments following Haaland's goal in the 2-0 victory over Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Norwegian striker has now scored 91 goals in 100 appearances for City.

Guardiola noted that Haaland's current stats are comparable to those of Messi and Ronaldo during their peak years.

He stated, "His numbers are comparable to Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who dominated the past decade, 15 years, in every aspect.

"In terms of statistics, he's on that level. I don't know how he does it, but scoring 91 goals in 100 games in the Premier League, in this country, is unbelievable."
