LaLiga: Zidane praises Real Madrid's latest signing, saying he will surpass everyone

Former Real Madrid midfielder and manager Zinedine Zidane has made a significant prediction about the club’s new signing, Kylian Mbappe.

In an interview with Telefoot, Zidane stated that Mbappe would 'surpass everyone' and leave a lasting legacy at Real Madrid. The club announced the signing of the former Paris Saint-Germain star on a free transfer on June 3, following the expiration of his PSG contract.

“Mbappe is here now. He will make history at the club and I think he’ll surpass everyone,” Zidane said.

Mbappe has already achieved remarkable feats in his career, scoring prolifically at both club and international levels. During his seven years at PSG, he amassed 256 goals and 108 assists in 308 games, becoming the club's all-time top scorer. He is also the third-highest goalscorer for the French national team, with 47 goals in 78 games.

Mbappe was a crucial part of the France squad that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup and scored a hat trick in the 2022 final, although they ultimately lost to Argentina in a penalty shootout. He has since become the captain of the national team, succeeding Hugo Lloris after the 2022 World Cup.
