Transfer: Man City sets a £50 million price tag for De Bruyne

Manchester City reportedly set a £50 million asking price to part with Kevin De Bruyne this summer.

Al-Ittihad showed interest in the 33-year-old and even agreed to personal terms with the playmaker.

However, the Saudi Arabian club has reportedly decided not to pursue the transfer.

Transfer expert Rudy Galetti states that Al-Ittihad withdrew due to City's demands.

An initial £25 million bid was rejected, with reports suggesting City is holding out for closer to £50 million.

De Bruyne has now entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
