Barcelona midfielder Pedri has lauded Real Madrid's Luka Modric, highlighting the Croatian's exceptional skill and difficulty to dispossess.

Pedri remarked on Modric's elusive nature on the pitch, noting how challenging it is to take the ball from him.

Modric, a standout among modern midfielders, has clinched six UEFA Champions League titles with Real Madrid, led Croatia to the 2018 FIFA World Cup final, and earned the 2018 Ballon d'Or.

“Every time I’ve played against Luka Modric, it’s clear how hard it is to get the ball from him—it’s like it’s glued to his foot! Something you might not see on TV is his incredible change of pace. He can go from zero to twenty in an instant, and when he does that with the ball, catching him is nearly impossible,” Pedri shared (via Madrid Xtra on X).
